At Geist Fitness all personal trainers hold a degree in Exercise Science and are certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (the leading internationally recognized authority and “Gold Standard” for professional trainers).
Geist Fitness Personal Trainers have earned a reputation for achieving life changing results for our clients. During your initial FREE Consultation, your trainer will discuss and evaluate your health history, lifestyle and goals to formulate a comprehensive plan to meet your needs. Based on this information, your trainer will suggest a course of action.
Fitness Assessment
Prior to your first scheduled personal training session, you will be offered the opportunity to perform a standard or modified physical fitness test.
These tests determine your current level of fitness taking your health history into consideration. Your trainer will use this vital information to develop a safe and effective program for your desired outcomes.
The tests to be conducted will measure your body compostion strength and cardiovascular capacity. Your trainer will compare your results to standard levels for your age group, review the results with you and provide a copy for your records. This information will enable your trainer to develp a safe and effective program for your desired outcomes.

One-on-One Sessions
Our most popular form of personal training is one-on-one. This format features either a 60 or 30 minute session based upon the client’s current level of fitness and personal schedule. Trainers develop a course of action based on client goals and level of unsupervised commitment to the designed program.
All successful programs result in some behavioral changes in regular physical activity, nutrition, and lifestyle. These changes are incorporated into each personal training session.
Semi-Private Training
Partner training is a great way to maintain motivation and to stay on track with your program! Two clients share the allotted time and cost. Each session is 60 minutes and provides many of the same programming benefits and personal attention available in our one-on-one training.
Semi-private Sessions are perfect for couples or friends. Don’t worry if you’re not at the same fitness level as your partner, your personal trainer has the expertise to work with all fitness levels.
Small Group Training
