At Geist Fitness, I provide consultation to clients on behavioral modification techniques to achieve their health and fitness goals in concert with their personal training. Often when a client is seeking weight loss, he/she may become overwhelmed with making multiple changes to their meals, exercise, and sleep.

I also work at the Roudebush VA hospital located on the Indiana School of Medicine campus as a Research Health Psychologist and Senior Research Professor at the IU School of Medicine designing and evaluating programs for Veteran patients to enhance their self-management skills and modify their lifestyles to improve their health-related quality of life.

Exercise is a method of stress relief for me and gives me a much needed time out from daily life. I also use exercise as a means to maintain my level of functional fitness.

Joe and I share a love of our National Parks and spend our vacations hiking in and visiting a National Monument or Park often throughout the American West.
